about

Cornelius Ferguson aka Traxman is one of Chicagoís Ghetto House living legends, releasing his first EP in 1996 on the famous label Dance Mania, he quickly becomes a valuable asset of the city with his productions mixing hip-hop, funk, off the beats breaks and double speed snare drums.

Cofounder of Geto DJ with X-Ray, member of the Ghetto Tecnicianz besides DJ Spinn, Dj Rashad or the younger DJ Earl, he doesnít like it when we qualify his music of Footwork or Juke, he feels his music blends in a more global vision of House music. His reputation has gone beyond Illinois to be acclaimed all over the world with bangers such as ìGet Down Lil Mommaî and many mixtapes.

ìReturn Of The Westside Boogieî is composed of eight tracks entirely produced on engine and shows all the Corcky creativity of the Artist. Reinventing famous gimmicks made in Chicago such as ìWork ití, ìMove itî or ìShake Dat Assî, he still doesnít forget footworkers with "Acid Run" and his line of TB303, the unstructured groove of "Funk Da Best" and the anthem "In Da Circle".

Traxmanís full musical culture and all his work since the 80ís meet in ìReturn Of The Westside Boogieí. He proves once again that ghetto-house has still many things to show and forecasts a 2013 year rich in BPM.
